Hello everyone! Hope you are all keeping well and managing to enjoy the beautiful sunny weather. I also hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day last Sunday and that your children had a go at signing ‘Happy Mothers Day’ to you. As promised, we have a range of things to show you this week.

As it is Friday, I’ll start with Mrs Matthews, Compton Preschool’s answer to Joe Wicks! 🏋️‍♂️

Both Miss Warren and Mrs Chapple have taken the opportunity to walk their dogs this week. As you can see there are some impressive sticks to find!

You may have seen lots of houses with rainbows in the window and Mrs Back has drawn her own to share with you all. 🌈

Mrs Matthews has been doing lots of fun and educational things with Max and Finn. Pebble art doesn’t require a lot of resources and is a lovely thing to do. It gives an opportunity to talk about colours and colour mixing and when finished the pebbles can be counted, reinforcing maths skills.

With supervision using grown up tools is very exciting and excellent for hand-eye coordination and physical skills. Finn looks like a pro!

Letter recognition is good to practice. If you are outside maybe you could ask your child to throw or kick a ball at the right letter!

Now that the leaves are beginning to emerge, it’s nice to collect them to make pictures. They can be made into very nice bugs!
