This week we have had lots of Halloween activities and have been having fun dressing up in costumes.
Many of our activities have involved cooking, such as making crispie cakes,
Halloween biscuits,
and chocolate apples.
Cooking gives us a good opportunity to talk about hygiene and the importance of careful hand washing, as well as healthy eating.
The children also made playdough, which they may have brought home with them for the half term break. Hope you don’t mind!
We froze some creepy crawlies in ice for the children to dig out this week!
Mrs Chapple read ‘Room on the Broom’ and really got into character!
Then the children made some ‘silly soup’ in their cauldron. Lots of funny things went into the mixture!
Outside the children enjoyed tackling an obstacle course, which is good motor skill practise.
They also made rainbow puddles!
Here are our ‘tip top tidy uppers’ for this week! Well done!
To top it all off, the children painted some fabulous Halloween pictures!
It was a really fun week
Don’t forget that next week is half term. We hope you have a good week. Take care everyone!

Another lovely week. Oliver loved his pumpkin biscuit and ate all the chocolate off the apple but then left the apple 🤣!
