Despite the rather unsettled times, we have done some fun activities this week.
We did a soap and pepper demonstration to highlight the importance of hand washing. It would have fitted in well on science week.
We also made some playdough.
The weather was reasonable so we could go outside.
When it was wet we had a run around inside!
We aim to continue the Friday blog while we are shut. This is not only to keep you updated about any new information we might have, but also to share any ideas for keeping your children busy whilst they are not at preschool. Please don’t see any activities as ‘homework’, they are fun things that you may choose to do if you wish. We all sometimes run out of ideas to keep our children occupied and we hope to give you some new suggestions! We aim to continue to post our makaton sign and letter of the week so you can have a go at home.
We see our preschool as a community and so would love you to post on tapestry the things you have been doing. We will miss everyone and it would be great to keep as much contact as possible, so let us know how you are getting on. We may even put some of our activities on the blog so that your children can see that we are still carrying on and keeping busy!

Alex is really missing preschool and is asking every day when he can come again. It is so hard trying to explain to him that I don’t know when 😥 thank you for all that you have done with him since September. Thinking of everyone in this uncertain time x
