This week we have had lots of activities which celebrate Chinese New Year. The children all found out which animal they are on the Chinese horoscope. We have a selection of sheep, monkeys and roosters.

A child really wanted to do the dancing footprint activity this week. We played some Chinese music while they danced around. Some of the children forgot to stop at the soles of their feet and started to paint up their legs! It took a bit of washing off.

Next week our letter of the week will be ‘k’ and our makaton sign is ‘play’.
