We had an exciting visitor this week. One of our parents is a police officer and he came in to talk to the children about his profession and also brought in some equipment to show them. Everyone had a turn trying on the uniforms.4170A77A-464D-4115-B0A8-15F423C4CE7B 73884596-BEAD-403F-BBD1-F1BEF745C86B A6A04633-BBA2-4878-B40A-91F9393E9FA0 18827233-23A1-4753-BBDE-FA8A4291B2D6 24AB84E3-F8F9-42DF-9D9A-F0BAD688A6C8 3753DA22-88B0-4681-9DCD-EF4B97FD91EF C8F6965A-4CE0-4415-B7EC-114945FB6991 D8B6D050-23B4-40F5-979F-29D5684F1DAC C7543B11-C9F4-46BE-9418-4E5198D35F49 1A620384-F636-4FC6-90D0-5537FCBE5E15 F3AC0AE3-BB2D-49FE-BE21-FBECA2B71353

Mr David volunteered to be handcuffed, but may have regretted his decision!😂F5365467-A648-472B-A9DF-153EECF45CFC

It was a really interesting visit, and a great opportunity for the children to learn about the jobs that people do to serve the community. We’re so grateful to parents who give their time to come in and enrich the curriculum. 👏

For obvious reasons, football fever has continued to grip pre-school! On Wednesday, we designed our own England kits (three dinosaurs anyone?) and Mrs Chapple brought in a table football game. Luckily, like the England team, the children managed to break the penalty shootout curse!0617E682-A955-4646-9233-78A8E12F8F3D 6CDB25F6-5682-4F3F-8A4A-119A3BA8C8A3

Just to round off an exciting week, we visited Greenacres on Friday afternoon and were accompanied by the cameras from BBC SouthWest’s Spotlight programme! They were very interested in the relationship we have fostered with Greenacres and the benefits it gives to their residents and our children, and wanted to feature us on the radio and TV. We have been informed that the item will appear on Spotlight next week, so keep an eye on the schedules!
