This week we have been amazed by how much the ducks have grown and developed. We got so attached to them that we couldn’t bear the thought of them being taken away and possibly separated, never to be heard of again! Because of this Mrs Chapple went on a mission and at the last minute managed to arrange for them to be rehomed at a local smallholding with amazing facilities. Their new owners are also vegetarian, which is reassuring (no orange sauce!) It was still sad to see them go and the children gave them a final run and a bath to make sure they looked their best!

Also this week the children began to decorate the plant pots that they will sell at the Easter open afternoon.

Make sure you save the date for this event. It will start at 1pm on Thursday 29th March, with the Easter bonnet parade at 2.30. There will be things to buy that your children have made and other fun activities. We look forward to welcoming you!

Finally this week, we celebrated World Book Day. We had to postpone this a couple of weeks ago due to the snow, but we made up for it on Thursday by dressing up and sharing stories.
