This week we have returned to pre-school feeling refreshed after our Easter break and raring to go! 🤩
Over the holiday the room was moved around a bit and we created a ‘big school’ area which has proved to be very popular. As we are about to lose a lot of our children to big school we will be concentrating on ‘school readiness’ skills throughout this term. These include managing toileting, dressing and shoes independently which are also skills that are good for you to reinforce at home. We hope that you are all happy with your school allocations, we will miss all of our leavers but they are becoming ready to take their next steps.
We also got our indoor climbing frame out this week. All of the children love this so it is a good opportunity for us to reinforce turn taking and patiently waiting for your go!
The children practised their fine motor skills this week.
As usual we did lots of craft, this week this included a mathematical element!
And we concentrated on maths in other ways too!
We had lots of fun!
Don’t forget that Monday is a bank holiday so we will be closed. We are however open on election day as usual.
