Another beautiful sunny week! This week Mrs Matthews had a trip to the beach, where she could make the most of the weather.
Unfortunately she forgot to look where she was going as she came down some steps and hurt her ankle. Even worse than this though was that she dropped her ice cream! Poor Mrs Matthews!
She has also been doing lots of quizzes with her family and friends. In this one you have to name all of the chocolate bars. How many can you name?
Mrs Back has also had a trip to the beach this week with Bella and Felicity. They went rock pooling, which is always lots of fun!
She also found a big slow worm in her garden, which brave Mr Back caught in a bucket and took to the woods across the road from their house.
Their cheeky squirrel has found a friend and they love playing in her garden!
Miss Warren has been enjoying the sunshine and doing lots more baking, making chocolate orange millionaires shortbread and biscoff blondies! They look really amazing!
Mrs Chapple has been on walks with Codie and has noticed some objects that look like shapes or other things. What does this big branch look like to you?
Do you think that these daisies make a shape? What shape is it?
She also met her neighbour who was going to release a bucket full of tadpoles into a stream. If you look really closely can you see them? Do you know what they will change into?
Mrs Matthews had her birthday his week, which included a trip to the beach and a beautiful birthday cake made by Miss Warren.
She bought a blender in an attempt to increase Finn’s fruit intake. She says that she guesses that her smoothies aren’t as good as the innocent ones!
Finn and Max’s favourite thing to do this week was paddle boarding. They also went crabbing and caught lots of crabs using bacon! When they had had a look at them, they released them back into the sea.
Mr David has been out and about and has seen some friends. He’s carefully stayed 2m apart of course!
When we took Marge for a walk this week we noticed some exciting new things along Efford Walk. If you look carefully, you will see that there are now some ‘fairy doors’ along the path. It’s nice to see that fairies have decided to move in, I wonder if we will see any of them on our future walks?
This week Marge has at last been clipped, which is good because it is too hot to have very bushy hair! We hardly recognised her afterwards!
Some more of you will be returning to preschool next week. Myself and Mrs Back will be in to welcome you back. The room has been rearranged a little bit and we thought that you might like to see how it looks now.
Although things will be a little different and may seem strange at first, we will still be having fun and striving to provide the best experience possible for the children until the end of term.
Letter and MAKATON sign of the week are on tapestry. I hope that you’ve enjoyed being able to do a few more things this week too. Take care everyone.❤️❤️❤️
