This week has been beautiful and we have been taking groups of children to Collings Park to enjoy the sunshine and all of the natural things that are there.
We have set up a ‘school’ in our room, which is popular! It gives the children a chance to role play their anticipated experiences at big school.
We’ve also done some detailed painting this week.
We have a parents evening for school leavers only on Monday 26th June 4-6pm. There will be a signing up sheet going on the door after half term so you can sign up for a 10 minute slot. Before this you will receive your child’s transfer form and this will be an opportunity to chat about our observations.
Our leavers celebration will be on Tuesday 18th July at 2pm. Children who are not leaving us for primary school this year will need to be collected at 1.30 and children who are leaving but who are not usually in on Tuesday afternoon can be brought in at 2pm, when you come to watch.
Our party at Collings Park is on the last day of term, Friday 21st July, from 10-2. All are invited and we meet at the park. You can come for as long (or as little!) as you like and you are responsible for your child on this day. If it rains it will be cancelled (we will inform you of this on Tapestry) and there will be no preschool on this day.
Next week is half term and we have holiday club on Tuesday. It looks like the weather is set fair, so have a lovely week and we’ll see you back at preschool on Monday 5th June. Take care everybody. ❤️❤️❤️
