Thank you to everyone who entered our ‘guess the name of our stick insect’ competition. We have now ordered our new home for them with the money that was raised and will post a picture of it when it comes. We all love our stick insects at preschool!
We had a pirate day on Friday to celebrate Plymouth pirate weekend. Lots of us dressed up in pirate costumes and we made some pirate hats, maps, ships and pictures. We also read lots of pirate stories. Yo ho ho!
We have been doing lots of number activities this week, counting and putting numbers in the correct order. Number recognition is a building block of maths skills.
We had a lovely week!
Don’t forget that our last day of half term is next Thursday 23rd May and that we return to preschool on Monday 3rd June for the final half term of the year.
