This week it was the Spring Equinox and we celebrated this with some lovely Spring activities. We printed some pretty flowers in bright colours.
We also talked about the life cycle of a butterfly and the children had some special snack themed on this. If your child told you that they had a caterpillar to eat though don’t worry because it was a cunningly disguised pear!
We have also planted cress seeds this week and have already been able to watch them begin to grow.
We’ve had a lovely week!
A massive thank you to Emily who has donated an iPad to us. It’s so kind of you and we are already making lots of use of it. We are always so grateful for donations of technology (and everything else!) so once again thanks a million!
On Friday myself and Miss Warren are attending an all day event which will launch the Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. This organisation will provide information and advice to help us to support any additional needs that your children might have. We’re hoping that we will get a lot from the day.
Don’t forget that next week is our last before the Easter break. We are looking forward to welcoming you in on Tuesday (28th) for our ‘stay and play’ session. If you would like your child to enter the Easter bonnet parade make sure you bring them in with their hat on the day!
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week!
