This week we set up a shop for the children. Thank you for all of the donations of products for the children to sell. They’ve really enjoyed this role play and have been talking about number as they work out how much they need to pay for their groceries. Prices are very variable, with both amazing bargains and some very expensive items!
We got the babies out as some children had asked to play with them. They were very popular and led to lots of imaginative play
We also resumed our trips to Greenacres Care Home this week. We have a long standing relationship with Greenacres and both our children and the residents get so much from our visits.
The children have been busy.
We have been sent details of a Halloween event you might be interested in:

This week myself, Miss Warren and Mrs Sam Matthews attended a course about the launch of a new transition portal. This is going to be a new way of transferring information between settings and receiving schools and it’s good for us to be among the first to find out about such new systems.
You will see us put a ‘donation station’ outside the front door next week. This is if you have anything that you would like to hand to us that you no longer use or think we might need. We will let you know if there are specific things that we are looking for, but we can always do with craft items etc. Thank you in advance!
Have a lovely weekend everyone, the weather is supposed to be gorgeous! Take care and see you next week.
