This week the new children have continued to settle in and familiarise themselves with us and the setting.
We have done some baking this week, making both banana cakes and also some lovely green ones! As I’m sure you can tell from looking at the cakes, the children led this activity 😂. Baking is great as it can lead to discussions about hand hygiene, healthy foods and also touches on a lot of early mathematical concepts when the children are weighing and measuring.
The children also made igloo pictures using Lego bricks and blocks to print on black paper.
We had another busy week!
You may be aware that Sam Matthews has hurt her knee and isn’t able to be at pre-school at the moment. The children made her a big picture to send their love (might be a bit large to stick on the fridge Sam!). Hopefully she won’t have to be off for too long as we are all missing her-we’ll keep you posted.
Don’t forget that we are taking bookings for our half term holiday club on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th February. Speak to a member of staff if you would like a place.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week. ❤️❤️❤️
Hope you get better soon Sam
Thank you! 🥰
Hope you’re okay and your knee heals quickly. Sending hugs xx
