This week we have made a role play school area. This included school uniform from local primary schools which they have loved dressing up in, helping them become more familiar with it as some of our children are beginning to make their transition into primary school.
Some of the children have enjoyed taking on the role of a teacher using a register modelling what they have seen us ‘teachers’ do,
We have also brought in our climbing frame which they absolutely love! You can see the difference in their physical skills as they are now a lot more confident in moving around the climbing frame.
We had a lovely visit at the care home this week. The children play different games with the residents such as domino’s and the shopping list game. This finished off with a run around in their beautiful garden to let off a bit of energy!
Date for your diary: Greenacres Summer Fate – Saturday 5th July 12pm-4pm
Entry is £1, children go free. There are lots of activities on such as face painting, bouncy castle, stalls, bbq, and live music.
