Today is red nose day and we had a very special visitor: spiderman! He had a dance with all of us and the children were very excited to see him (even if a couple were a bit suspicious about his authenticity!)
We made red nose head bands.
We also celebrated St Patrick’s Day this week. The children danced to Irish music. ☘️
They also made rainbows with pots of gold at the end. This was good colour recognition practice. 🌈
St Patrick’s Day produced a lot of art opportunities.
We enjoyed the sunny weather outside and also did lots of things inside!☀️
Well done to our trophy winner this week!🏆
This week Miss Warren and I participated in a SEND briefing. This keeps us up to date with the latest information about special educational needs across Plymouth.
On the last day of term (Friday 8th April) we would like to invite you into pre-school for a ‘stay and play’ session and a hot cross bun. Due to the pandemic it has been a really long time since we have been able to do this and it’ll be lovely to welcome you back. The times will be between 10 and 11 in the morning and between 1 and 2 in the afternoon. You can stay for the whole hour or just pop in for a quick hello. Look forward to seeing those of you who are able to make it.
Also on Friday 8th we are planning to have an informal get together at Collins Park to remember Mr David. This will be a chance for us to come together in a relaxed way to think about David and to celebrate his life. Feel free to bring drinks or a picnic if you would like to. The time for this will be 4-5.30.
As a more lasting tribute to Mr David we are hoping to plant a tree for him at Collins Park with a memorial plaque and are currently waiting to see if we have permission to do this. He loved taking the children to explore this space and discussing the natural things they could find there. If you would like to contribute to this please hand any donations into pre-school. Thank you.
Have a lovely sunny weekend everyone. See you next week!❤️❤️❤️
