We had a huge pumpkin in pre-school this week which we made into pumpkin soup. Most of the children were happy to try this, though not everyone liked it! 🎃

To continue the foodie theme, the children made Halloween biscuits and homemade tortilla chips.

We played with coloured rice, mixing the different colours together to make a rainbow.

We also did some outside painting, which was lovely and messy!

We hope that your child liked their glowing ghostie. They certainly looked good in the dark! 👻

You may have noticed that we transformed an area of our pre-school this week and created a vintage room. The children have loved playing here.

Just a reminder as the cases of Covid continue to rise in Plymouth. The official guidance remains that if your child is displaying any of the 3 key symptoms: a high temperature, new continuous cough or loss of taste or smell, they should not come to pre-school and should have a PCR test.

Next week is half term. We hope you have a good break and your child comes back refreshed and ready for the organised chaos that is the run up to Christmas! This half term tends to be action packed so keep checking the blog and tapestry for information on all the events and activities in store.

Take care everybody.❤️❤️❤️
