This week we have been doing activities that are good practise for fine motor control. The children used tweezers to sort out different coloured objects, which was a bit fiddly!
We’ve also been threading: making necklaces and threading cards and pasta.
Our new easel came this week and it’s gone down really well.
It has been very cold this week, but the children still like to go outside to play. It is nice to be putting on hats, scarves and gloves for a change rather than puddle suits and wellies.
This week we got some new pets for preschool. We asked the children to try to guess what we were getting and there were a wide variety of guesses from dogs (yes please!), to parrots and alligators! The children were very excited to meet our new stick insects though.
It’s been a great week!
