Welcome back to our final half term of 2018!
We have a lot of activities planned for the next few weeks, so there are a number of dates for you to put in your diaries.
Tuesday 6th November. Jelly Images will be visiting to photograph the children. If your child does not usually attend on this session and you would like them to have their picture taken, please bring them along between 12.30 and 1pm. Similarly, anyone who would like their child’s photograph to include siblings should attend at this time.
Monday 12th November, 6-8pm. Parents Evening. If you have yet to do so, please sign up for a time slot on the notice on the door. You will shortly receive a short written report, please ensure that you bring this with you when you attend.
Friday 16th November. Children in Need. We will be fundraising for Children in Need throughout this week, so keep an eye out for lots of fun activities and have your spare change ready. On Friday we will be wearing spots to preschool, so feel free to join in!
Friday 14th December. The Nativity. This will take place in the morning and will be an opportunity for everyone to take part in singing and dressing up together! Everyone is welcome to come along: mums and dads, grannies and grandads, aunties and uncles, the more the merrier!. More details about exact timings, costumes and the like will be available soon, so please keep looking at our blog.
We will be holding our famous Christmas raffle again this year and so we would be very grateful for any donations for our hampers. Non-perishable items of Christmas food and drink, such as chocolates, cakes, chutneys and jams, biscuits, tinned foods, snacks, wine or cordials, or anything else that takes your fancy, would be fabulous. Please hand your donations to a member of staff. Thank you so much! We are hoping to make enough money to replace the soggy grass in our outdoor area with some snazzy new astroturf, so look out for when we begin to sell raffle tickets!
Alongside all of these exciting events will be a lot of Christmas craft, so you should get a nice goody bag at the end of term. Our last day of preschool before Christmas will be on Tuesday 18th December. The Spring term 2019 will begin on Monday 7th January.
