We were so disappointed to have to cancel our Sports Day this week. It’s always easier to do this when the rain is pouring down, but when possible lightning was in the forecast the health and safety Gods had to get involved! We did have some races in the garden though and still managed to have fun!
We also made our paddling pool into a ball pool, which was great fun!
We made pitta bread pizzas this week and it provoked the usual pineapple debate!
This week was good fun.
You may have noticed that we have had two work experience students in this week. The children have really enjoyed spending time with Ruby and Dixi and we hope that they have had a good week too.
On Monday I had a safeguarding course on ‘Trauma Informed Practice’. We like to keep you informed of any professional development that we do as we feel that it is important for us to keep abreast of best practise.
As we come to the final couple of weeks of term the excitement ramps up as we get into our leavers presentation, party days and party in the park. We also realise that it can be an emotional time as you see your child getting ready for the next big step. Don’t forget that we are here to have a chat, or offer you a tissue for the tears!
Have a good weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week! ❤️❤️❤️
