This week we have been celebrating both the Lunar New Year and making Valentine craft. Today is the beginning of the year of the ox, Mrs Chapple is an ox 🐂, so they are obviously fantastic people! The children discovered that they are either monkeys 🐒 (like Mrs Matthews junior) or roosters 🐓 (like me).
On Monday the children danced to Chinese music and used traditional Chinese lucky colours for dancing footprints.
They also had lots of fun trying to eat noodles and prawn crackers with chopsticks. This wasn’t easy! 🍜
They dressed up in our costumes.
We tipped the duplo out for the children to play with this week. The children got very creative and it was lovely to see them cooperating and constructing together.
The children made Valentine cards this week. It was lovely to hear them talk about why they love their families.
Some more birthdays this week. We hope you had a fantastic day! 🎂
We did lots!
Thank you to everyone who has returned the questionnaire. We are currently looking at your responses and will feed back soon.
Next week is half term. We hope you have a lovely week and will see you back at pre-school on the 22nd.
Take care everyone! ❤️❤️❤️
We loved Oliver’s Valentine’s card and especially that he made it for his brother 🥰. He enjoyed cosmic yoga and showed us the moves when he got home!
Fantastic! We’re glad Max liked it. ❤️
