Here we are back to school after the Christmas break. We hope that you all had a lovely break and are raring to go for the new term.
We welcomed some new children and families last week. It’s lovely to see you and we hope that you are enjoying your time at preschool so far. We have done lots of things this week, such as painting:
Mr Potato Head:
Name collages:
Lots of craft:
And playing outside in the cold!
The children have also been using the chairs for train and bus roleplay. We are planning to extend this by providing props for their play next week. We like to use their spontaneous play and interests to inform our planning so we can ensure that they are engaged in what they are doing and having maximum fun!
We did lots of things!
This week Sam Matthews had a course which was an introduction to visual impairment. We also had a staff meeting and we decided that we would spend the money we raised on the Christmas raffle on a microphone and speaker (after the popularity of the ones at the nativity!), a painting easel and lots of craft supplies. We raised an amazing total of £150 and want to thank you for all of your support with this.
