Happy New Year everybody. We hope that you all had a good Christmas break and are healthy and raring to go for a new term!

This week we didn’t let the grass grow under our feet and did lots of fun activities, both inside and outdoors. It was lovely to welcome some new children to preschool and we think that they enjoyed themselves too!

We all practised washing our hands carefully throughout the day. This was very important before we ate our packed lunches.

Well done to our tip top tidy upper this week! 🙌

As we told you last term we had been hoping to replace the edging around the bark in our garden. After hearing about this, one of our dads offered to do the work free of charge! Kyle came up after Christmas and worked so hard to get it all looking beautiful. Thank you so much for all of your hard work, we really appreciate it! 👍🙏🙌

Please be aware that we have a no nut/egg policy at the preschool. We have children who have these allergies attending at present, so it is especially important that you avoid these items or things that include them in your child’s lunch.

As you know, we are to remain fully open during the current lockdown. The following link has some information for parents, included those with children at pre-school:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/what-parents-and-carers-need-to-know-about-early-years-providers-schools-and-colleges-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-outbreak/what-parents-and-carers-need-to-know-about-early-years-providers-schools-and-colleges-in-the-autumn-term?priority-taxon=b350e61d-1db9-4cc2-bb44-fab02882ac25

It is very important that if your child or a member of your household has any COVID symptoms you DO NOT send them to pre-school but instead book a test straight away. If you or a member of your household think you might have symptoms, you can find out more about what the signs are and book a test here:

https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

We also ask that you do not send a child who is generally unwell (as is stated in our usual policy).

Thankyou!

Half term is the week beginning 15th February.

Here’s to a fun, productive and healthy half term! Take care everyone! ❤️❤️❤️
