This week, as the weather has been so variable, we decided to get the climbing frame out. Learning how to safely use this equipment is important and gives an opportunity to hone physical skills. It is also a lot of fun!
It was lovely to have a grandparent volunteer who came in and spent time with us this week. The children enjoyed playing games. They love having new people to talk to and take part in different activities with.
There was more turn-taking practise when groups of children played ‘Pop Up Pirate’ with Mrs Chapple.
We did some finger painting this week using a variety of colours. Most of the children love these sensory activities, and we know that it’s nice when they do them in school as they can be messy! We hope that you like receiving your childrens’ pictures; they are always excited about taking them home for their families. Please remember to send your child in with their book bag so that they can transport them easily.
On our trip to Greenacres this week we had a game of skittles, which caused a great deal of excitement among the children and residents!
Half term next week! We hope that you enjoy the break (for those who have one of course!). Next half term is a busy one, with lots of diary dates and Christmas preparations. More information on all of this to come soon!
