This week we have had some lovely sunshine so we have used this opportunity to visit Collings Park with some more children. We have been looking at all of the changes due to Autumn, such as the leaves changing colour and falling from the trees.
This also led to some craft activities involving collected leaves and their varied colours.
The children also constructed an enormous marble run (thank you for the kitchen roll tubes!). It certainly was a feat of engineering! Maybe one day we’ll have a successor to Isambard Kingdom Brunel. 🙂
The children really enjoyed our group activity with the parachute. This involved careful listening and cooperation and got very exciting!
It wasn’t dry and sunny all week, but that didn’t spoil our fun!
Here is our ‘tip top tidy upper for this week. Well done!
Just to let you know that there has been a slight delay with our Compton Quest reading box. We are expecting it very soon though, so watch this space!
Don’t forget that next week is our last before the half term break. Also there is still time to book a place at holiday club if required.
Take care everyone and have a good weekend!
