As you know this week has been a bit topsy turvy as we have altered the staff rota to create our new ‘bubbles’. We hope that your children haven’t been too phased by the changes and have still had a really fun and enjoyable time. We’ve been doing lots!
As you may have heard, we began our Christmas craft this week and the children have been busy making things to bring home at the end of term.
The children helped us to start putting up the decorations too!
We have also begun to practice the Christmas songs and dances which we are hoping to post on tapestry for you towards the end of term.
All of this Christmas activity has created a lot of excitement, so we hope we can manage to pace ourselves for the rest of the term!

A lot of staff training has been put on hold for obvious reasons this year, but this week I was lucky to be able to participate in a special educational needs reviewer course which will hopefully lead to me gaining extra skills with which to improve SEND provision in both our and other settings. Over the next month I will be compiling some written work which will be looked at by Plymouth city council and hopefully passed. I’ll let you know how it goes! 🤞🏻
We still need donations for the Christmas hamper. Please pass any non perishable food and drink items to a member of staff. 👍❤️
We are intending to run our Christmas holiday club on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd December, although, as you can imagine, this may be subject to change if the rules are altered before then. If you fancy a day or two to get ready for the season though and would like to provisionally book a place, please see a member of staff.
If any of you have yet to return your child’s summative report please could you hand it back ASAP. Thank you!
Dont forget that you also now need to renew your child’s 30 hour code if you access this funding to ensure that you continue to receive the provision. We need the codes by 17th December at the latest.😄
