This week we have been doing lots of activities based on our favourite books to coincide with World Book Day.

We shared the story of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and this led to lots of fun. The children made sandwiches at snack time to take to granny’s house.

We also made our own wolves out of paper plates.

We had our usual visit to the care home this week. Unfortunately this will be our last one for a little while as they have told us that they have been advised to suspend visits due to coronavirus. Hopefully we will be able to go again as soon as possible and will keep you informed about this.

This week Mrs Matthews (senior) attended a safeguarding course on child protection and I had the last day of my three day portage workshop.

Next week our letter of the week is ‘e’ and our makaton sign is ‘no’ (not that we ever have to say that of course!) 😆
