This weekend is Plymouth Pirate weekend and we have celebrated this at preschool by dressing up, singing pirate songs and doing pirate activities!
We have been talking about healthy eating this week and we made some fruit kebabs. Most of the children were happy to try the different fruits and they enjoyed preparing them as well.
We are hoping to spend a lot of time this term at Collings Park community garden. We took a group over this week and visited Mr David’s tree. We also did some planting in our planter and back at preschool. We have planted tomatoes, lettuces, cabbages and strawberries and this will be an exciting activity as the children watch the plants grow and eventually sample what they have produced.
We were busy inside and out.
Well done to our tip top tidy up trophy winners this week!
On the final day of half term (Thursday 26th May) we are planning to have a party for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Keep an eye on your tapestry feed for further details!
Don’t forget that we will be holding our holiday club on Monday and Tuesday 30th/31st May. If you would like to book a space please see a member of staff.
Have a lovely weekend everyone, take care.
