We have received valuable feedback regarding access to our newsletters, which are now available via our website. A request has been made for them to be sent to everyone by e-mail, instead of posting them on the website to be accessed by parents independently. Following a lot of discussion and consideration, we have decided that this option would not be achievable for the following reasons. We do not have a member of staff who is solely office based and the work needed to not only send the e-mails but also to monitor the contact information would prove to be too onerous. Children are often with us for a relatively short amount of time and contact details need to be regularly reviewed for data protection and safeguarding reasons. We do recognise, however, that the newsletters do contain vital information. For this reason, we have decided that, although our aim is to be primarily paper-free, we will offer parents who cannot access the internet the option of a paper newsletter on request. We will also remind parents when a new newsletter has been posted via a notice on the door. (comptonpreschool.uk)
We greatly value your feedback, so if you do have any requests, concerns, questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff.
Thank you
