Apologies for the missed blogs over the last couple of weeks. We had a problem with logging in one week and it’s been very busy with out children having their visits to primary school and also we have been running our ‘stay and play sessions’ for our new starters in September.
After half term we had a special delivery in the post and had some caterpillars arrive! They started off really small and the children have kept a close eye on them, watching them get very big! They have now formed a cocoon and have been transferred to the next. The children are patiently awaiting to see what happens next!
Some of the children went for a walk to our planter at Collings park and we harvested some strawberries and rhubarb. Whilst we were down there we watered the planter and looked in the pond for the froglets!
We have then used the rhubarb and make an apple and rhubarb crumble! The children really enjoyed this!
With the sunny weather we have had lots of fun in the padding pool with ice poles to cool off!
The children were also very excited to have the climbing frame out!
Have a good weekend everyone!
