This week it has been lovely to see how much the children have enjoyed playing together and participating in lots of fun activities.
As you can see we have spent time inside and outdoors and had lots of fun. Having fun leads to the best learning opportunities and I hope that you’ve enjoyed accessing TAPESTRY and seeing what your child has been up to and how this relates to the learning goals in the Early Years Curriculum. Don’t forget that you can also post on TAPESTRY and we would love to hear your comments and see what you have been doing at home.
We have just updated our Covid-19 policy and you may want to check it out on the ‘policies’ section of this website. The official guidance remains that the symptoms which are key are a high temperature, new and continuous cough, or loss of taste or smell. If your child has any of these you must not send them to pre-school, but should follow the government guidance. Don’t forget that it is also our policy that children with vomiting and/or diarrhoea should be clear of symptoms for 48 hours before returning to pre-school. Similarly, if a child seems unwell in general they will be sent home.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding with this.
Hope you have a lovely weekend and see you all next week!
What a lovely first week! It’s so wonderful to see the children happy and engaged in a wealth of enriching activities. On his fourth morning session, Oliver didn’t cry to go in – thank you for helping him to settle so quickly!
Thank you! It’s lovely that he’s settled in. 🙂
