This week we made some chocolate apples. The children enjoyed using spoons to pour the chocolate on the apples and then decorated them with raisins and sprinkles. Before we started we talked about the importance of hand washing and the children washed their own hands carefully. Such skills are important and it’s good to reinforce them during exciting activities.
Our freaky spaghetti was not good to eat, but luckily no one was tempted! It was a lot of fun to play with however.
We also cut up some pumpkins and made some pumpkin soup. Most of the children were happy to taste this and a lot really liked it. Some children also tried the pumpkin seeds, but were generally not so keen!
Just to let you know, we have had a case of chickenpox at preschool, so if your child has not had it, you might like to keep an eye out for symptoms. We have also had one case of headlice, so please check your child’s hair. If you would like the latest advice on treatment, it’s a good idea to see your pharmacist.

The chocolate apple was a big hit in our house! Thank you lovely thing for them to do
Glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun (but a bit messy!)😂
