This week the Christmas fun has reached a crescendo!
We had loads of fun making some Christmas chocolate treats.
We made plates of nibbles for Father Christmas and the reindeer.
On Thursday we had our Grand Christmas party. Everyone had a fantastic time, with games, dancing, food and face painting.
Friday brought the debut of our Nativity. We were so proud of all of the children, I’m sure you’ll agree that they did an amazing job! Thank you for providing such fantastic costumes and thank you for coming to see the show.
This week one of our children brought in their 5m swimming certificate. We haven’t had one for a while, so it was lovely to be able to celebrate this achievement . Well done! 👏
A quick reminder that on Monday (17th), there will be a pyjama day for those who attend, so please send your child dressed in their pyjamas.
Many thanks for your raffle donations and ticket purchases. We will be drawing the raffle on Monday- good luck to everyone. We will be using the money raised to lay AstroTurf in the outside area when the weather improves.
Our final day of term is on Tuesday (18th). Our first day back next term is Monday 7th January.
We are planning to extend our role play area next term with a lot more baby items. This is because we have noticed that a lot of children are choosing to play with our dolls and we would therefore like to develop this activity and incorporate more role play opportunities to stimulate imagination and language. For this reason we would be really grateful for any baby items that you no longer need and would like to donate. Things such as baby baths, old bottles, changing mats and anything else baby related would be fab. Thanks! 🍼👶😊

Thank you Compton Pre School for putting on a truly wonderful Nativity, we enjoyed it from start to end not wanting it to end. All the children were wonderful.

Thank you for such a lovely performance on Friday. Heidi sang the Father Christmas song at top volume in the shopping mall today. That singing louder than the adults idea has really brought out a competitive streak. Wishing a lovely Christmas to all at what Heidi calls her “Rainbow preschool”

The nativity was absolutely fantastic! My whole family were in awe of the children and how much hard work had gone into this memorable experience. A fantastic pre school with fantastic staff who all deserve a very merry Christmas break x
