This week was a bit crackers as we continued making our Christmas craft. We hope you like your homemade cracker, don’t forget to shout ‘bang’ when you pull it!
Thank you for our hamper donations, please keep them coming! Extra raffle tickets can be purchased at £1 a strip. Also thank you for handing in your £5 for the Christmas craft and party week.
Lots of us are receiving things in the post at the moment. The children enjoyed playing and crafting with the boxes this week.
We filled up the water trays, which the children found really good fun.
Each week we focus on a different letter and you may have noticed your child practising the sign that goes with our letter of the week. We have found that doing this has really helped with the children’s awareness of phonics.
Mrs Matthews made some delicious cakes with the children. As they contained lots of fruit, we could use this opportunity to talk about healthy eating (and of course washing our hands thoroughly!).
Once again the week was full of fun!
Well done to our ‘tip top tidy uppers’ this week.
Next week will be our last week of the current staffing arrangements as we come out of lockdown and into tier 2. From 7th December we are going to revert to our usual rota for the last two weeks of term. Our last day before we break up for Christmas will be Thursday 17th December and holiday club spaces are still available on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd. Please see a member of staff if you would like to book one.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and take care!
