You may have seen on Tapestry that we have resumed our visits to Greenacres Care Home. We started doing this a few years ago following research which highlighted the benefits of intergenerational relationships for both children and the elderly. It has always been a really important aspect of our pre-school but it unfortunately had to be halted at the beginning of the pandemic. We are thrilled to have been able to rekindle the relationship and we are seeing the enjoyment it causes on both sides.
We carried on with our Christmas craft this week. We are almost glittered out, but will keep going!
We also put up our decorations and set up some new activities, such as present wrapping. If any children are good at this we are thinking of bringing some of our presents from home for them to wrap!
We’ve had lots of fun.
Just a quick reminder that next Thursday (8th) is our nativity and Friday (9th) is our Christmas party. Details of these are on tapestry. The last day of term is Friday 16th. Way hey!
Have a good weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week.❤️❤️❤️
