This week we have been celebrating Chinese New Year which falls on Sunday. We are entering the year of the rabbit and we have done lots of activities based on this. We also talked about what signs the children fall under. We have an assortment of dogs, pigs and rats so ask your child and see if they can remember what they are!
The children were offered noodles at snack time, which had a mixed reaction.
They also practised using chopsticks, which wasn’t easy!
Then some of the children made Chinese rattle drums, which were very beautiful.
It’s been nice to have a drier week this week, but it has been cold! The children love looking for ice in our garden though.
We have done lots of things.
There are still a few spaces for half term holiday club. Let us know if you would like one.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week.
