Back to the blog this week. Last week I was unable to post as I had a meeting, but normal service has now been resumed!
We hope you liked the pizzas the children made. This activity gave the children fine motor skill practice and was an opportunity to talk about healthy eating and hand hygiene. It was also good fun!

Some children used the chalks to draw outside. It’s important to give them opportunities to practice early writing skills in lots of different ways as many children aren’t keen to sit at a table for long periods.

Now Autumn is definitely here we have been talking about the changes to the weather and nature. The children have enjoyed collecting and painting leaves and pine cones.

You may be familiar with Sidney, our African land snail. He’s been out saying hello this week!

Last week staff had training on ASD (autism spectrum disorder). We like to access as much training as we can as it’s important to keep our skills current.

We will be having a parents evening on ,so look out for an appointment notice to sign up to on the door.. This is an opportunity for you to come in and chat with your keyworker. Before this you will receive a Summative report, which is a overview of how your child is getting on at preschool. Don’t forget though that we have an open door policy which means that we are happy to speak with you whenever you wish, so feel free to chat!

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care! ❤️❤️❤️
