The year has finally come to an end and this week has probably been the noisiest ever! We’ve had lots of fun though, with party days…
a visit from the ice cream van…
a fantastic set from DJ Jonezy and DJ Jonezy Jr…
and the party in the park.
It’s also been an emotional week as we say goodbye to all the children who are moving on to big school in September. They did so well at the leavers presentation- you must have been very proud! We will miss you all and hope that you love your new schools and enjoy the holidays.
If you are staying with us the new term begins on Wednesday 7th September, we look forward to seeing you then. We hope that you all have a lovely summer too!
Finally, a poem:
Sticky fingers, runny noses,
Heads, shoulders, knees and toes-es.
Shapes and colours, ABC’s
Taking turns and 123’s
Lots of smiles, hugs and giggles,
Circle time and lots of wiggles,
Building blocks and dress-up clothes,
Learning how a flower grows.
Milk and apples, first-time friend,
Thinking days like this won’t end.
Pre-school’s done before you know,
Blink an eye and off you go.
Like a butterfly you’ve flown,
You have learned and you have grown.
Tiny chairs give way to desks,
Book reports and spelling tests.
So take off now, spread your wings,
Soar to new heights, learn new things.
Just remember, as you do,
Someone’s very proud of you.
❤️❤️❤️
