Pre-school is full of minibeasts at the moment. As well as Steve our stick insect and our snails Sydney and Sunny, we have recently acquired 5 caterpillars. When they arrived they were very tiny, but we can’t believe how quickly they have grown! This week they have begun to turn into chrysalides, which is very exciting and we are hoping that they emerge as butterflies before we break up for Easter. Watch this space for more updates! 🐛🦋
As Sunday is a special day, the children have been making something for their mummies this week. We hope you like what they have created, they worked hard to make them beautiful! 💝
We are loving the sunny weather, it makes such a difference when the days are bright and warm. We decided to give our outside area a bit of a Spring clean this week and luckily the children were keen to lend a hand! 🌞
We were busy!
Just two weeks of term to go. As you are all aware it has been a challenging time to say the least. Once again you have been amazing with the support that you have given us, we really appreciate it.
Don’t forget that we are having our Easter ‘stay and play’ sessions on Friday 8th April 10-11am and 1-2pm. It would be lovely to see as many of you as can make it. Also on that day is our get together at Collings Park to remember Mr David (4-5.30pm)
David’s funeral is on Thursday 7th April at 3pm in St Andrews church. His family have said that all are welcome and the dress code is colourful. There will be a get together afterwards at the Guildhall. Pre-school will be open in the morning but will close after the morning session (11.30am) to allow us all to attend.
We hope that you all have a lovely weekend and a fantastic Mother’s Day on Sunday. Take care everybody! ❤️❤️❤️
