This week the children made gingerbread men. We read the story of the gingerbread man to them and then they enjoyed making their own. Luckily, none of them ran away when the oven door was opened!
The children carried on their food preparation by making their own sandwiches
We had a very artistic week this week. The children did potato prints.
They also made a beautiful mural outside!
As we’ve been having some lovely sunny days, we’ve made sure that we have been staying hydrated by drinking lots of water.
It was a good week!
Well done to our trophy winner this week! 🏆
As the end of term is rapidly approaching we just wanted to give you some more information about our end of term get togethers.
Each year on the last day of term we meet at West Hoe park, on the green near the Gus Honeybun train. This year we will be doing this on Thursday 22nd July between 10am-2pm.
All preschool children and their families are welcome. Please bring a blanket and a picnic. This will be a family-fun day for us all to catch up and say goodbye to our school leavers. Parents must stay with their children at all times.
We hope to see as many of you as possible whether you stay half an hour or the whole time!
The last day at preschool will be on WEDNESDAY 21st JULY, even if we have to cancel party in the park.
*Please note that if restrictions do not allow us to meet in large groups we will unfortunately not be able to go ahead. We will also have to cancel if we have extreme weather conditions.
We are hoping to hold a School leavers celebration on Monday 19th July. We aim to hold this at Collings Park community garden at 4:15pm. This will only be open for immediate family members due to us trying to limit numbers.
We are awaiting confirmation as to whether COVID restrictions will be lifted in order for this to go ahead.
If restrictions have not been lifted we will still be holding the leavers celebration but will instead be asking you to drop the children into preschool. We will record the celebration and post it on tapestry.
More details to follow once we know which way we will be able to hold it!
Have a good weekend everyone! Take care. ❤️❤️❤️
