This week we continued our Christmas craft with card making. Learning how to write their names is an important skill and many of the children find signing cards for their families an exciting thing to do.
We also made a Christmas backdrop for our display, which gave us a good opportunity to participate in one of our favourite activities: dancing footprints!
This activity is also good as it encourages the children to practice putting on their socks and shoes. These skills are really important and certainly make it easier for them when they start at big school.
Not everything was Christmas themed this week however. Some children decided that our outdoor broom would be good to fly around on!
There was enough rain this week to float some boats, ducks and even a shark or two! 🦈
Well done to our ‘tip top tidy uppers’ this week!
We also had two birthdays! Many happy returns. 🎂
It has once again been a very busy week!
This year your children are preparing Christmas gift bags to bring home to you which will contain their Christmas craft and a raffle ticket. We would like to ask you for a donation of £5 which will include this and food and resources for party week. Any additional raffle tickets can be purchased for £1 a strip. Thank you!
On 11th December we will be taking part in Christmas jumper day for Save the Children. Your children are invited to wear a Christmas jumper to preschool and if you would like to donate to the charity a link will be posted on tapestry to allow you to do so.
Have a lovely weekend everyone and take care! ❤️❤️❤️
