Today is the 75th anniversary of VE Day, when the Second World War ended. If you have been part of any celebrations, we hope that you have had a wonderful time! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

This week, Mrs Matthews has been busy, but she’s not sure that she is happy with everything she has done!

She did like one thing very much though!

She also enjoyed bumping into one of our special preschool families.

Miss Warren walked to Efford Marsh and the Barbican, which is a very long way! She has also sent you a smile because we all need a smile from time to time! 😁

Mrs Chapple’s daughter Aimee was 21 years old this week! Do you think that that is a big or a small number? They had an all day party to celebrate, with breakfast croissants, afternoon tea and a rainbow birthday cake made by Phebe. WOW! Can you name the colour in the cake that begins with the letter ‘y’? Mrs Chapple bought Aimee a Disney princess tea set. Aimee’s favourite princess is Jasmine, do you have a favourite?

Mrs Matthews has taken advantage of the returning sunshine to have LOTS of fun in her garden. She’s very brave!

On a walk they saw Bella and Felicity and could wave through the window.

Mr David has been baking too. He has made some scones, which look delicious.

He didn’t have as much success with cutting his own hair though. Poor Mr David! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
