Dear parents,
It is our intention to open preschool from Tuesday 14th April for children of keyworkers only who have no other alternatives available to them.
The Government are clear in their guidance, that wherever possible, children should remain at home to limit the chance of the virus spreading unless -:
. Both parents are keyworkers
. Lone parent is a keyworker and the other parent is unable to look after the children due to exceptional circumstances
. Children in care, children subject to a child protection plan and children on high level care plans.
These children should be able to access a childcare place if required.
If you are in one of the above categories and need your child to attend preschool, please let us know as a matter of urgency.
Please could you inform us what days/hours you will need. We will aim to be as flexible as possible and your normal days/sessions do not need to be adhered too.
We will only be open when children are booked in, with minimum but safe adult ratios, in order to reduce the risk of infection to children, staff and families. We will be following the latest government guidance on hygiene and social distancing as far as possible.
If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
More information can also be found on Gov.uk-ofsted Coronavirus (covid)
Thank you for your cooperation.
