This week we have been celebrating the Lunar New Year. This year is the year of the snake 🐍. The children learned that they were either born in the year of the ox, rat or tiger. We made a dragon mask and the children danced to Chinese music with it and made a pattern with their dancing footprints.
We also tried a variety of Chinese foods and practiced using chopsticks.
There were lots of activities related to this celebration.
This week we also took some children to the care home where they participated in a music makers session, which was lots of fun.
We’ve had fun as always!
This week Miss Warren had the second part of her first aid training. At preschool we all take these courses every three years.
