This week the children brought home a lucky red envelope for Chinese New Year. We hope the chocolate coins made it back! A755D25F-594F-43F5-A89E-92BD4625E778 52EB7A2D-7EF9-4943-92AC-03459A488BE8

We also welcomed two visitors from Greenacres this week, Joan and Jean. The children have responded really well to the visits and talk about them throughout the week. They love to show what they do in pre-school and this is good for their communication skills and vocabulary. Also, meeting a range of different people is excellent for developing social skills and confidence.698AF568-ED49-4887-B07F-4D71E924BD06 F1FF1DAC-DC66-4BA0-90F1-0EF554C20C56 EAA0AF85-CE04-44A4-B5C8-36B7F1FC58D0

As we are entering the Chinese year of the dog, the children made some origami dog faces. It took the adults a while to get the hang of them, but the children cottoned on quickly! This led to further paper craft, included an enormous number of paper aeroplanes!C2DECEA0-D880-42C2-AEE3-7E6304FE5080

Throughout their time with us children will take part in a number of small group activities. These help to develop their vital listening skills and give them an opportunity to interact in a less noisy and possibly distracting environment. They are also excellent for promoting sharing and turn taking and are often a lot of fun!37AA8DBF-7E36-4898-B681-155857A92F47 106B833D-FA22-4D00-8059-7D486D331819

Don’t forget next week is half term. We hope you have a good break!
