Week 1: Creative fun with paints.
Week 2: Literacy week – ‘World Book Day’.
Children are welcome to bring in their favourite book to read and parents are welcome to come in to read a story. Tuesday 5th March: Pancake day. Thursday 7th March: Children are invited to come in dressed as their favourite book character.
Week 3: Science week
Week 4: People and Communities.
Includes Mothers Day and a visit from a police dog and their handler.
Week 5: Physical week
Week 6: The ‘Great British Bake Off’, Easter craft and bonnet parade.
On Tuesday 2nd April we will be holding a ‘Great British Bake-off’ fundraiser.
There will be a prize for the best home-made cake: entries cost £2. All entries need to be brought in on
Tuesday morning ready for judging. From 1 to 3pm we will be holding an open afternoon during which you are invited to come into pre-school to view your child’s learning journal. Tea and coffee and delicious cakes from the bake off will be on sale for £1. All proceeds will go towards improving our water play area. We hope that you will support this event.
On Friday 5th April at 2pm we will be having an Easter Bonnet Parade and Easter Egg Hunt.
All children are welcome. If your child does not normally attend this session and wishes to come in at 2pm for these activities, please tell a member of staff.
The last day of the Spring term is Friday 5th April. Summer term 2019 begins on Tuesday 23rd April.
30 HOUR CODES: Please reconfirm your 30 hour code by 29th March so that you can claim your funding for the summer term.
EASTER HOLIDAY CLUB DATES: Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th April 2019.
We are now taking bookings. Please let us know your required dates asap.
ADVANCE NOTICE: We will be holding our annual ‘SPORTS DAY’ at 2pm on Friday 5th July at Greenacres Care Home.
