As we get nearer to the Summer term and children leaving us to go to big school, we have been concentrating more on our letter of the week. This week’s letter is ‘n’ and we have done activities based on this. Why not ask your child each week if they can tell you what the letter we are talking about is!
We also had some maths activities going on this week, with the children making insects with the correct number of legs among other counting and number recognition tasks.
We had a lovely week which also included some special Dutch snack that was very kindly brought in by one of our families: thank you so much!
Next week will be science week, so keep a look out for all of the exciting things that we have planned. If you have any spare small clear plastic drink bottles we would be very grateful to have them.
A quick reminder that the last day of term is Wednesday 27th March and that we will be running our holiday club on Tuesday 2nd and Monday and Tuesday 8th and 9th of April. If you would like to book a space, please speak to a member of staff.
Courses this week have been Child Protection Refresher for Sharon (Matthews), Adverse Childhood Experiences and Water Safety for April (Smout) and English as an Additional Language for me.
Have a lovely weekend everyone. Take care and see you next week!❤️❤️❤️
